about ALX3
It's hard to explain in one line. It's a living page, and half of what it'll be is still a list of things I want to build. But to start:
I've always been into collecting things. Data, experiences, objects, and then sorting and organizing them. That habit turned into ALX3, an experimental piece of the internet I wanted to share.
Right now it's mostly a shop. Pokémon cards, clothes and other collectibles I'd like to hand off to a new home. There's only one of each, so when something sells it's gone. Soon I'd like to gather local artists here too, and give more creatives a platform.
The events map comes from the same place. What's on around Seattle has ended up divided between the internet's ever-growing walled gardens, and finding it should be easier than that.
I want to keep building ALX3 into a multipurpose hub for creativity. If you have an idea, or want to contribute, message me.
who's behind this
I'm Luis Armendariz, a software engineer in Seattle and a nerd for trinkets, art and technology. I've been buying and selling Pokémon cards on the side for a while, and this is where the rest of my collection ends up.
I built this to feel like a garage sale that got trapped in an old video game.
